Forests are the most developed and longest-lived ecosystems on the mainland.
All of the ecological, economic and social activities carried out in order to offer the products and services in the ecosystem for the benefit of the society in case of need are called ecosystem services.
These benefits offered to people are grouped under four main headings as provisioning, regulating, supporting and cultural ecosystem services.
