Climate change refers to the systematic changes in the long-term statistics of the elements that make up the climate, such as temperature, precipitation, pressure, or wind, caused by natural factors or human beings.
Earth’s climate has continued to change throughout history due to natural causes such as changes in the Earth’s orbit, changes in the amount of radiation it receives from the sun, and natural internal processes of the climate system. The rapid increase in greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere by people due to activities such as agriculture, production, heating, cooling, and transportation also increases temperatures of the layers of the Earth, and this greenhouse effect accelerates the natural climate change process.
